New song this Sunday!"We Labor Unto Glory" by The Porter's Gate Even a dream job is still work. We toil, we burnout, we ask ourselves "what is this all for?" In Jesus, even the hum drum and mundane of everyday life is made sacred. What we do isn't ultimately meaningless. Our toil is the location where God shows up. He reminds us that if we trust Jesus, all we do is infused with God's life and love: his Glory. And this makes everything we do eternally meaningful because God is found in all we do. And one day Jesus will come back and transform all our world into his Kingdom of love. Let's sing about our hope this Sunday, click the button below to hear our new song. For more infomation visit:

WHAT WE'RE READING, LISTENING TO, AND WATCHINGEdifying content that has deeply informed our work this season - The Business of Christianity is a short video featuring Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones describing the essential healing that Jesus offers each one of us. - An Impossible Forgiveness is the story of a mother who, after a radical act of forgivenss, works to have her son’s killer released from prison. - What is Faith is a short but insightful video of Christian Philosopher and Theologian William Lane Craig describing a biblical understanding of faith. - How to Judge the Church is a short video that addresses the question 'How can we take Christianity seriously, if Christians have so often departed from the tune of Jesus?' - Prologue to an Anti-Therapeutic, Anti-Affirmation Movement is a piercing essay by Freddie deBoer on corrosive effect that pop psychology can have on our lives and offers an insight as to how to navigate disapointment in our modern age. - How Christianity Is Different From Every Religion is a short clip of a lecture given by Dr. John Lennox on the uniqueness of the Christian faith. |
Bible StudyEvery Wednesday at 7:30pm at The Rectory The Bible is God's written word, given to us by the Holy Spirit as a revelation of God's acts in history and our final authority in matters of faith and practice. So we're making time this summer to meet weekly to read the bible, explore and share on our weekly passage, and to grow in faith and friendship. If you'd like to grow in faith, hope, and love, join us every Wednesday at 7:30pm at The Rectory (406 Buffalo St) with Seth & Brit as they host our summer bible study! |
