Tell Me Strange Things...Come over on Sundays as we face the hardest sayings in the Bible - Sunday, July 7, 2024 It's clear that Christians haven't always been on the right side of social justice issues, including the difficult topic of slavery. This raises the question: how can we trust in a God who seems to endorse such practices? This week, let's tackle these tough questions together. Rather than avoiding the uncomfortable parts of our history, we'll dive into how Christians have struggled with the complexities of Scripture and society. We'll aim to understand how Jesus can guide us through the tangled web of history and injustice, and how despite these challenging truths, we find healing and hope in his love.
