Enjoy good food and good company at a good price

Mondays from 5 PM to 7 PM, Food & Friends is operating from St George-in-the-Pines' Church Hall, currently offering take-out food. The price is free, but donations are welcome and can be made at the door. 

If you are symptom free, bring your mask and come get dinner to take with you. We practice safe distancing and require everyone to wear a mask and sanitize your hands upon entry. We provide compostable take-out containers.

We hope to be able to gather in person again once it is safe to do so, and have our meals together at the church. Until then we are happy to offer take-away food.

Community Food and Friends Dinners offer a safe place for people from all segments of society, to come together every Monday evening, 52 weeks a year, to enjoy the pleasure of a free, attractive, nutritious meal in a beautiful setting, with friends and neighbours.

Food

We are committed to providing high quality food that is nutritious and delicious. We are thankful for the leadership of our head chef Beat Hegnauer, who was the Executive Chef at the Banff Centre for many years.

COMMUNITY

This is not a soup kitchen approach toward feeding hungry people, but a community event that provides good nutrition, enhances food security, and brings about social cohesion.
