Since 1889 the Parish has welcomed visitors from around the world and we extend a very warm welcome to you. May God bless your time in Banff, and may it be a time of wonder, relaxation, and renewal.

Here are some of the highlights of our church, parish life and historical site. We are available as a site for weddings and special events. St. George’s is a fantastic musical venue, often featuring performances from The Banff Centre, Banff Coffee House and other talented performers.

 

 

St. George’s church is a historically significant place and is still active part of Banff’s community and culture. It is one of 10 Historic Sites in Banff, built at the time of the Cave and Basin and Banff Park Museum, St. George’s is a cornerstone of this mountain community.

We believe we are called by God to serve as a centre of worship, connection with creation, and community service within the town of Banff. Anchored by our Anglican tradition, we open our doors and our hearts to people of all faiths and traditions. We strive to demonstrate Jesus’ love and teachings in all that we do.
